A 5* housebuilder are looking to bring a new Quantity Surveyor into their business to facilitate a new growth patch – this coming straight from the Commercial Director who said the region are now ramping up with new sites coming online and houses being built again – a great time to get into a positive business after a tough couple of years for our industry.

You’d be based at their brand new offices in Birchwood and asked to take on two sites, probably two out of three in Crewe, The Wirral and Deeside (depending on your experience, location etc) and asked to visit sites, have client meetings etc. at least once a fortnight – the Commercial Director encourages you getting out and about.

He’d welcome you coming in at Quantity Surveyor OR Senior Quantity Surveyor level – the difference being your package rather than a vast difference in workload – and the position has come about due to those new sites coming online (the Managing QS will relinquish one), of which you’ll probably pick up one alongside an existing one.

Two sites might seem slim BUT he wants you to have time to really concentrate on the matters there PLUS they do have a demanding CVR process via COINS (max 2 weeks to get one done and bi-monthly evaluations) – if you’re hot on this already then it should be no problem.

On top of the above positives, the Director, who has 2.5 years in the position in this business and many more at another major 5* builder, would look to offer between £50,000 to £60,000 plus £5,000 car allowance (negotiable) with a 10% discretionary bonus in addition.
